Oil-in-Water Sensor device
The OSD1 is an online, real-time oil-in-water sensor device which
measures the oil pollution level in discharging water from oil and gas
installations and drinking water plants.
Unlike many rival products, the life span of the OSD1 is a
lengthy one and is therefore able to produce long-term results in the detection
of oil in water.
As the result of thorough research, SLD has created a unique
combination of substances and materials to produce this product which is widely
used on permanent offshore installations.
Features
-
The OSD1 is
designed for the rapid retrieval of data via remote detection
- It is a
high performance online real time monitoring device and is capable of
detecting reliably up to 50 part per billion with high accuracy range
- It is built
with highly sensitive detection and rapid repeat rate to analyse a minute
quantity of oil even at high flow water rate
- It produces
high data repeatability due to novel SLD technology for keeping the optical
window clean
- It provides
an unrivalled combination of speed, accuracy and flexibility
Benefits
- The OSD1
can easily manage the provision of high precision data within a large volume
of water
- It is
compact and could be deployed both at offshore and onshore facilities for
monitoring water quality
- It is a
turn–key solution, simple to operate with no requirement for experts
