Permanent Imaging and Monitoring of subsea installation

This part of the SLD product range is unique because it is the first of its kind to act as a permanent monitor for single and multiple subsea installations and has been carefully engineered for the purpose of long-term monitoring.

The most important feature of this is the small amount of time and cost involved. Because of its permanence there is no requirement to revisit the same location and use up valuable time as well as disrupting a vulnerable environment with multiple visits.

Simple to use and operable without the need for expert knowledge, the unit can deal with the transmission data of eight cameras simultaneously while also providing high precision data.

It requires low power and is capable of using rechargeable high power batteries for optimum usage. The PIM produces images rapidly and has an inbuilt alarm system ultimately saving time for the diver or the ROV operator. It has also been programmed for alarming of a various subsea output such as gauges and gas leaking bubbles.

With the assistance of SLD technologies the data can be transmitted anywhere in the world via a hand held PC.
