LPS1 is a Laser Smart Pig providing a highly advanced geometry
inspection sensor and a high resolution 3d imaging for inline
inspection of gas, water, chemical and light oil pipelines.
This highly innovation technology operate with high speed laser
scanning to produce a virtual reality 3D imaging of internal
pipeline with a capability of pinpointing any defects due to
corrosion, erosion and any geometry deformation with an
accuracy that can exceed a tenth of a millimetre.
LSP1 built with long battery life and massive data storage to be
capable of surveying a large pipeline that is 100s of kilometres in
a single run.
LPS1 is supported with human-to-machine inter-phasing
software for clearly marking and finding the defect in both video
motions, single and a multi-imaging display format.
LPS1is structured in a way that it is flexible to pass through
different shapes and bends of pipelines and is working
independently and easy to operate without the requirement or a
need for an expert.
Accordingly, LPS1 will enhance the pipeline integrity and act as
an early alarm system.
